Burglary near you

Dear Resident,

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on WOODHALL ROAD this occurred in the 2045hrs of the 03/10/25 and the method of attack was by blow torch and then snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

3 UNKNOWN MALES WEARING BALACLAVAS ATTACK BACK DOOR WITH A BLOWTORCH AND SNAP THE LOCK GAINING ENTRY. ONCE INSIDE THEY HAVE DONE A UNTIDY SEARCH OF THE PREMISES AND MADE OFF WHEN OCCUPANT CAME HOME. 

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between 20:30 - 20:45 to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
